Bowdoin Spirit

Bowdoin College’s identity is confident and understated, embodying the intellectual sophistication of the school.Yet the community is also full of life, and they needed a spirit mark to capture their playful side. After researching early versions of the school’s mascot, the polar bear, and the athletics identity, we created a new mark that harkens back to a historic version of the mascot. This polar bear is definitely a character you would want to hang out with.
